This adapter is for the Monk ASAP pole boat winch mount. It is pre-drilled for a very specific winch from Academy Sports. Unfortunately that winch has doubled in price compared to when the instruction document was originally made. There are a number of cheaper options on Amazon and at Walmart. My only reason for dropping one star was I think this product would be better suited if the holes were oval shaped and allowed for mounting of different winch assemblies. I found one at Walmart that almost matched but had to still drill out one of the holes to elongate it. I feel strongly that the three bolt holes for the winch Mount could easily be oval shaped to allow different bolt patterns to work so you don't have to source a very specific winch online. Otherwise, the plate works as intended and it is easier than drilling them all from scratch. Great product that could be even better.
